FRONTIER Building Completes Construction of Synovus Bank in Fort Lauderdale

Frontier Building has completed the construction of a Synovus Bank location at 1790 E. Commercial Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.  The 2,800-square-foot property was initially slated to be a Florida Community Bank, which was acquired by Synovus earlier this year.

The Miami-based builder provided ground-up construction of the property, as well as site-construction and parking for the 19,316-square-foot lot. The bank features a custom drive-thru with pneumatic tube system and 11 parking spaces. Jorge Wiewall of Frontier served as project manager. The bank is the sixth Broward location for Synovus.

“The new tenant took over during construction, and so the interior design changed quite a bit,” said Wiewall. “We had to work around these updates and make sure the required changes did not deter progress or budget.”
