Construction is underway on the Krispy Kreme coming to Castleton this fall.

Construction firm Frontier Building on Thursday announced that it broke ground on the project at 6022 E. 82nd St. in July.

The doughnut shop is scheduled for completion in November and will include indoor and patio seating — enough for 20 people inside and 30 outside, with social distancing — as well as a drive-thru and 26 parking spaces.

It’s part of a 76,665-square-foot lot at the former site of the PNC Bank between the Longhorn Steakhouse and Panda Express and across from the Castleton Square Mall.
